“A warrior should be prepared for all things in advance” — Yamamoto Tsunetomo, HAGAKURE
The majestic Rashomon gate was built in Kyoto in the year 789. Three hundred years later, the monumental structure had become, according to legend, the dwelling of the demon Ibaraki-Doji. Having battled with the famous samurai Watanabe no Tsuna, the demon lost his arms, and abandoned the gate forever. This legend became the basis for Kanze Nobumitsu’s play in the Noh musical theater tradition, for Ryunosuke Akutagawa’s story, and for other famous works. The jeweled Rashomon Tsuba credit card is made of 14-karat gold with added cognac- and champagne-colored diamonds, as well as mother of pearl and jasper.
The Rashomon Tsuba helps its owner to maintain calmness of spirit and clarity of mind in the face of danger, and does not allow fear to draw near to the bearer.
